This page is about the marketing site at www.citisee.com — the pitch, the waitlist, and the contact form. It is not the signed-in product. When you have an account, that product has its own rules.

Who we are

Citic is a New York night-out planner. This site is how we tell you what it is and how we take an address so we can write back.

What we collect

If you type an email on the homepage or the contact page, we store that address, when you signed up, and which form you used. The contact form is the same waitlist — there is no separate inbox, and no message field. We do not ask for a name, a card, or a location on this site.

If you unsubscribe and optionally say why, we store that reason with the same row. You do not have to give one.

The company that hosts the site also sees ordinary request logs (an IP address, a browser) for a short time, the way any website does. We do not use those logs to identify you.

What we use it for

We use the address to send a welcome note, an invite when there is one, the occasional product update, and a reply if you asked us to write back. We do not sell the list. We do not share it with advertisers.

Who sees it

A few services run the site for us: Vercel hosts it and runs the analytics below, Supabase stores the waitlist, and Resend sends the mail. They see what they need to do that job. They are not given the list to use as their own.

How long we keep it

We keep the row so we know who asked to join and who asked to leave. Unsubscribing stops future mail — every letter has a one-click link — it does not immediately erase the address, because we need the opt-out to stay off the list.

If you want the row deleted, reply to any mail from us or use the contact page and say so. We will take you off the list and delete the record.

Analytics

The site uses Vercel Analytics. It is cookieless and does not identify you. There is no ad pixel and no consent banner, because there are no tracking cookies to consent to.

Maps and photos

Maps on this site are pictures we baked once. Your browser does not call Mapbox, and we do not collect where you are. Photos are ours, used to show the product.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. Do not join the waitlist if you are younger than that.
